The proverbial they cannot make the line high enough. Army lost to Ball State by 28 and they cannot play from behind. It is that simple.

Not only is the average weight of Stanfords defensive linemen fifth-year senior Ben Gardner and seniors Henry Anderson and David Parry nearly 40 pounds heavier than the mean weight of Armys offensive linemen, but fifth-year senior outside linebacker Trent Murphy is also heavier than three of the five linemen, including the center. The disparity is even larger on the other size of the ball, where the Cardinals offensive linemen, on average, outweigh Armys defensive line by almost 70 pounds, and junior wide receiver Devon Cajuste weighs the same as Armys right end.

Army is not designed to play from behind and they will be early. Stanford is faster, stronger, and matches up extremely well. The Cards will be up by 30 at halftime.
