Wise Guy
(NCAAF) Georgia vs. Vanderbilt,
Point Spread: 7.00 | -105.00 Vanderbilt (Home)
Result: Win
Ravaged by injuries and now officially out of the National Championship race, the Dogs have to regroup for a quality opponent on the road. The Dogs should have lost to Tennessee, could have lost to LSU, and were crushed by Missouri over their last three games.

Though it is possible RB Todd Gurley will return, the Bulldogs have lost their other top tailback, Keith Marshall, and wide receivers Malcolm Mitchell and Justin Scott-Wesley. Mitchell was their No. 1 receiving weapon and Gurly-Marshall formed as good of a 1-2 punch as there was in the nation.

Another top receiver, Michael Bennett, missed the Missouri game following arthroscopic knee surgery and is not expected to play this week.

Now the banged up Dogs face the well-rested Commodores of Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt has struggled getting worn down in the fourth quarter but the bye week will help, especially playing a team whose depth has been thinned.

Georgia has now given up at least 30 points in five of its six games the only exception was giving up 21 to North Texas.

We expect Georgia to be happy to survive and head to the off-week hoping to get key players back for their rivalry game at Florida. Only twice all year has Georgia won by the current spread margin, and one was to North Texas when the Dogs had a lot more healthy personnel than they do now.

Going against favorites of 3.5-10 points after a game in which they forced no turnovers, versus an opponent that forced one or fewer is 63-29.
