(NCAAF) Clemson vs. Maryland,
Point Spread: 16.50 | -105.00 Maryland (Home)
Result: Win
What a tough spot for Clemson as it fits well into our famed Bubble Burst Theory that says when a team is eliminated as a national championship contender, fade them the week after their first loss, especially when they hit the road. We have plenty of angles that show this to be the case.

Not only must the Tigers rebound from their emasculation, but the have to beat a team that is 4-0 straight up when not playing on the home field of their opponent.

Among the reasons why this is such a great angle is that squares regurgitate the meme that somehow losing will make Clemson all huffy and puffy and they will take their anger out on the inferior foe. While there are certainly betting situations in which is true, not this one.

The Tigers are clearly on a downswing, managing just 38 points combined against Boston College and Florida State. That is much lower than the 44 points a game they averaged the first five weeks of the season.

Because Maryland lost WRs Stefon Diggs and Deon Long, we cannot make it our highest rated Wise Guy, but it is too many points.

On the other hand Garry Peters starting CB is out for the Tigers, while Bashaud Breeland will miss the first half.
