Friday Night Game of the Year

Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy has been obsessed with not showing anything for his opening foe Seattle to see. From a play calling standpoint, I expect Green Bay to be playing as vanilla as Game 1. Continuity on the offensive line was a struggle for the Oakland Raiders last season. Thus far this preseason, the Raiders have worked with the same offensive line and it has helped build a chemistry that was missing in 2013. They are the centerpiece of the team. Raiders starting QB Matt Schaub will play into the third quarter. Raiders coach Dennis Allen said there has been strong competition at receiver this camp and the unit could be deep.

QB rookie quarterback Derek Carr is probable after a concussion and would follow Schaub if he plays. Oakland spent a ton of money in building a contender and most experts we respect say they have added more talent than anyone. Secretive is the strategy for Green Bay. It means so much more to Oakland.
