Surprisingly (if not shockingly), the Ravens didn't cover a preseason spread last season in a succession of close battles. Prior to last season, however, John Harbuagh's Baltimore hadn't lost a preseason game since 2015. Questions this summer more involve a reconfigured OL and seeing if journeyman Josh Johnson is indeed up to being the backup to Lamar Jackson (likely not involved this week) after longtime backup Tyler Huntley moved to the Browns. Note that Nick Sirianni has won just one of nine preseason games with the Birds, though a few have been close, such as last August's 20-19 loss at Baltimore (Philly inching inside of the spread).
