Dodgers at Braves
(MLB) Dodgers (LAD) vs. Braves (ATL),
Money Line: -120.00 Braves (ATL) (Home)
Result: Win
"In Sale we trust." Or words to that effect as Chris Sale is making a strong case for the NL Cy Young Award as he sits at 16-3 with a 2.38 ERA entering tonight at Truist Park. But that's not the only reason to like the Braves, who are definitely playing with some urgency this weekend as they attempt to reel in the Mets, or maybe the D-backs and Padres, to get back into an NL wild card slot. Last night's 6-2 win was a good start to this weekend set vs. the Dodgers which also hopefully sends a message to the Blue, a possible playoff opponent who swept an earlier series from Atlanta back in May at Chavez Ravine. Jack Flaherty's numbers for LA have been good since his deadline add from Detroit, but they're not as good as Sale's, who has a 1.15 ERA across his last six starts, all Braves wins.
