Air Force at Nevada
(NCAAF) Falcons (AF) vs. Wolf Pack (NEV),
Point Spread: 3.50 | -110.00 Falcons (AF) (Away)
Result: Win
News alert...Air Force is back!!!! It took a while this season, but Troy Calhoun finally got the Falcons on track, with back-to-back wins and three straight covers. It's those wins, however, that really signal a turnaround, as the familiar option has started to pop again, first for 344 YR in the win over Fresno, and another 271 YR in last week's punishing 28-0 shutout of Oregon State. After 45:08 of possession in the win vs. the Bulldogs, it was another 41;56 of ball control last week vs. the Beavers. Better late than never on the switch to quick-footed soph QB Quentin Hayes, too, whose ability to run and playmaking ability is superior to early-season starter John Busha. The Wolf Pack has had an extra week to prepare for the option, and played one of its best games of the season when staying within seven of Boise on November 9, but Nevada only has three wins itself, and owns only the 95th-ranked rush defense. The Pack has also surrendered 26 rush TDs this season. Play Air Force
