There are a couple of late-season realities here at Snapdragon Stadium. First, the late-season revival of Air Force, which is closing with a rush, three wins and four covers on the spin as the Falc option finally got back on track, piling up 310 ypg in the win streak thanks in good part to Troy Calhoun's switch to quick soph Quentin Hayes at QB. The defense has also drawn a line the past couple of weeks allowing just 19 combined points vs. Oregon State and Air Force. Meanwhile we have continued to be amazed all season at how pedestrian the Aztecs have been, and how new-hire HC Sean Lewis has done nothing to revive an offense that bogged down during the Brady Hoke regime.
