Mets over Orioles- The Mets finally pushed a few runs across the plate after losing consecutive 1-0 defeats at the hands of the Nationals as they returned to Citi Field with a 3-2 win over the Orioles. New York starter Jacob deGrom (2-3, 3.34 ERA) last year's Rookie of the Year winner has been knocked around his last two starts but is 7-4 with a 1.65 ERA in 13 career starts at home. Baltimore's Ubaldo Jimenez (2-1, 1.59) is back in form but is only 2-3 with a 3.40 ERA in six starts against the Mets. New York ran it's streak against the O's to seven straight wins including 5-0 at home and with a 14-3 home record in their last 17 become the 'play.' Take the METS!
