Kansas City has dropped eight of their last 10 and has scored two or fewer runs in seven of those games. Ian Kennedy (3-2, 2.61 ERA) is back to his former level of excellence as he has allowed two or fewer runs in four of his five starts. On the other side Cody Anderson (0-1, 7.65) has surrendered five runs in each of his last three starts and was pounded by the Royals in his only start against them last season giving up seven runs in five innings.
