Giants over Cardinals- The Giants have somehow opened a 5½ game lead in the West as they had won 15 of 17 before their four game split at Atlanta. San Francisco had the MLB's best ERA of 2.47 during the month of May as they travel to St. Louis to play the Cardinals who are once again beset with injuries. Johnny Cueto (8-1, 2.31 ERA) of San Francisco has won five straight decisions and has surrendered just four earned runs but is just 5-8 with a 4.08 ERA in 20 career starts against St. Louis. Adam Wainwright (5-3, 5.71) after opening with three consecutive losses has also won five in-a-row and is 5-5 lifetime against the Giants. Favored as a visitor here gives me the GIANTS!
