Mavericks (+) over Pelicans- The Mavericks were determined to start the season on the right foot after going 2-14 last year but this season's start (1-8) is the worst in franchise history. New Orleans has two of the NBA's best big men is DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis who has had three straight triple-doubles.
