Pelicans (+) over Raptors- It appears that the duo of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins have turned New Orleans into a contender as they own a winning record for the first time since 2014-15. Toronto is off to a decent start (6-4) but I can't help remembering what I saw in the NBA Playoffs from the Raptors last season as they rely on the guard play of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry while their defense suffers allowing opponents to shot 45% from the field. The Pelicans who are 5-2 on the road are two strong up front and get the money here. Take NEW ORLEANS!
