Padres over Giants- We all know 'Shit Happens' and for the Padres they lost their up and coming ace Dinelson Lamet for the seaon on the last day of spring training and replaced him on the mound with rookie Joey Lucchesi (1-0, 1.72 ERA) who has been outstanding in three starts. Lucchesi was the Padres Minor league Player of the Year with opponents hitting just .200 against him. The Giants will start rookie Tyler Beede (0-0, 4.50 ERA) who starts because Madison Bumgarner is disabled and has had control issues.
