Mets over Phillies- After starting the season 11-1 the Mets are now struggling to stay above .500 as injuries and poor managing have taken its toll. New York does have an 'ace' in the hole and he is starting on the mound tonight as Noah Syndergaard (2-1, 3.09 ERA) brings his 100-MPH fast ball into play. Syndergaard's shortest outing of the year (4-innings, two runs) came against the Phillies but he is 4-1 with a 2.06 career ERA against them. Philadelphia will start Zach Eflin (1-0, 0.79) who is making just his second start this season but the Phillies are 2-9 in his last 11 starts and the Mets are 58-25 in the last 83 meetings...now that's more then a trend.
