Cardinals over Phillies- This is the third of a four-game series and they have split the two previous game with St. Louis winning Friday 12-4 with this biggest offensive output of the season. The loss was just the Phillies 2nd in their last nine games and they will send rookie Zach Eflin (1-0, 0.71 ERA) to the mound to face the Cardinals for the first time. The 'Red Birds' will start John Gant (1-1, 4.15) who is taking the spot in the rotation vacated by injured ace Carlos Martinez.
