Braves over Nationals- A couple of under-appreciated pitchers will take the hill tonight as the Braves start Sean Newcomb (5-1, 2.75 ERA) and Washington will send out Tanner Roark (2-4, 3.17). Roark who is 7-2 with a 2.77 ERA lifetime mark against Atlanta and has surrendered only 46 hits in 65.1 innings while Newcomb has given up just 42 hits in 55.2 innings. Newcomb has won his four starts in May while posting a 0.36 ERA allowing opponents a .110 batting average. Take ATLANTA!
