San Diego and Miami 7:10 ET
Marlins over Padres- It sure does look unusual to see Miami favored in any game even if they are at home especially since the Padres have won three straight series and are 19-15 since their 10-20 start. Tonight they will start rookie left-hander Eric Lauer (2-3. 6.82 ERA against the Marlins lefty Caleb Smith (4-6, 4.03) who is 4-3 with a 3.03 ERA in his last seven starts. Lauer has yet to put together back-to back quality starts and is off his best career start against the lowly Reds in an 8-2 rout but San Diego is just 2-6 in his starts. Take MIAMI!
