Padres over Pirates- San Diego just doesn't enjoy opening games of series when playing different rivals. The Padres are 1-18 (really), thats 1-18 the first game to start a series but their win last night brings their Game 2 of a series to 14-5 and they are 11-7 in the third game. This afternoon they will start Tyson Ross (5-5, 3.32 ERA) and they are 11-5 when he starts and 9-2 in his last 11 starts. Ross also has a 2.91 ERA at home. Take the PADRES!
