Angels over Mariners- If the Angels who started the season with such promise are to catch Seattle for the second Wild Card spot they need to defeat them head-to-head. Last night's win for LA came after spotting the Mariners a 3-spot in the top of the first before their offensive assault started. Seattle starter Marco Gonzalez (9-5, 3.64 ERA) has five career starts against the Angels and is 1-0 with a 3.91 ERA while striking out 21 in 17 innings while LA starter Jaime Barria (5-5, 3.39) who has lost his last four decisions. This is his third start against Seattle this season and the third time is a charm...Take the ANGELS!
