Mariners over A's- Oakland has opened a 2.5 game lead over Seattle after last night's 7-6 victory. They have won 37 of their last 49 and seem to have plenty of momentum. The Mariners hope to curve the tide a bit as they have the return of Robinson Cano who has been out since May 15 after his PED suspension. Seattle will start James (No-Hit) Paxton (10-5, 3.63 ERA) who has been racked-up in his last two starts but is 3-0 with a 3.32 career ERA against Oakland. Mike Fiers (7-6, 3.40) gets the nod for the Mariners and he is just 1-1 with a 6.21 ERA in six career starts. Take SEATTLE!
