Oakland at New York Yankees 8:00 ET
Yankees over A's- Granted it has been both wonderful and surprising what the Athletics have done this year finishing 32-games above .500 while the Yankees won 100 games second only to Boston. I could like Oakland here but with them starting Liam Hendricks (0-1, 4.13 ERA) a relief pitcher who is starting for just the ninth time in 26 appearances but has a 2.08 ERA as a starter in 8.2 innings. I don't want to take a team that has already acknowledged that they will most likely use six or seven hurlers as it only takes one bad outing to destroy well laid game plans. The Yankees will counter with Luis Severino (19-8, 3.38) who is looking to atone last years putrid Wild Card performance. Take NEW YORK!
