Lakers (+) over Rockets- Well, it has been said for years that LeBron James can carry a team of nobodies to the NBA Finals and this season we will find out. Los Angeles took a hit in their opener losing to Portland while Houston with the addition of Carmelo Anthony did exactly what was expected. The Rockets who had the best record in the NBA last year got wasted in their opener as a 9-point favorite losing to New Orleans 131-112. The Rockets still don't play defense and the Lakers will have a raucous crowd support for this one. Take LA LAKERS!
