Blue Jays over Rangers- Well, with the final two months left in the season Texas had put together a five-game winning streak to reach .500 before falling to our Megabucks winner Toronto 6-5 Friday night. It appears that the Blue Jays who are 10-games under .500 and a minus $1,541 are virtual also-rans as it seems and really aren’t going anywhere. The Rangers had a six-game series streak end as well last night and it is the Blue Jays turn to attack (very aggressive birds are the Jays). Rangers Michael Lorenzen (5-5, 3.53 ERA) gets the nod and the 14 HR’s in 97 innings have him doomed. The Jays Kevin Gausman (8-8, 4.55) and his high ERA can be traced to 16 Homeruns surrendered, although he is 5-3 with a 3.75 ERA vs. Rangers. Take TORONTO!
