Thundering Herd (-) over Terrapins- As the season unfolded Maryland quickly became a media darling until they were dismantled by Florida State. Marshall was pounded by Rice in the USA Conference Championship game but still remain one of the top scoring teams in the nation at 43 points per game. It seems a bit odd that with the game at Annapolis, Maryland and the Terps from a much stronger conference that Marshall be favored. The Herd had won five straight before their disappointment against Rice but will be ready for play in this one. Take MARSHALL!
