Golden Gophers (+) over Mustangs- So many great story lines surrounding this years NIT Final starting with SMU head coach Larry Brown returns to Madison Square Garden with the Mustangs looking to win their first NIT championship. This is Minnesota's second NIT in the last three seasons and in 2012 they were blown out by Stanford 75-51. I'm sure the Golden Gophers are looking to atone for that performance. It will be a fight for styles as Minnesota is 11-0 when scoring 80 points or more and SMU has held their last six opponents to 70 points or fewer.
