Padres over Nationals- One thing about baseball is that I 'hate' is repeating with a loser from the day before and that is exactly what I am doing with the Padres. Mis-reading Friday's game is not a good reason to skip the Padres tonight. Starter Andrew Cashner (2-5, 2.35 ERA) has thrown better then his record shows but they have failed to support their most effective starter. I might be pissing into the wind as Washington has won six of their last seven games and have been scoring runs in bunches but can be stopped by Cashner who allowed just one run over seven innings in his last start against Cincinnati. Take SAN DIEGO!
