This is an 8* AFTERNOON CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PLAY on the Reds.

After dropping the first two games of this series with Arizona, and three straight overall, I like the Reds to bounce back on this get-a-way-day game vs. the D-Backs.

The Reds hit the road tomorrow for a brutal six-game road swing at St. Louis and the Dodgers, putting added incentive onto this afternoon contest.

The Diamondbacks are primed for a letdown after four straight victories and with a tough series starting at Atlanta tomorrow night.

Taylor Widener is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA, who beat the Reds earlier this month.

Jeff Hoffman is 2-1 with a 2.93 ERA for the Reds. He'll be out to avenge an 8-3 loss to Arizona on April 10th, allowing three runs over five innings.

The Reds are also interestingly 7-2 in their last nine in trying to avenge back-to-back home losses to an opponent.

I look for the "HUNGRIER" side to step up here and deliver. The play is CINCINNATI.
