Here's a game between two teams that won't rollover. The Senators are playing their best hockey of the season right now as they've won three of their last four.
The Canucks endured a long time off due to COVID-related issues, but they enter off a two-game mini-series sweep at home over the Leafs. Both times as massive underdogs.
Montreal came out on fire after two weeks off due to a COVID related issue as well, winning its first couple of games, before then falling flat on its face and going on an extended losing streak.
Vancouver is primed for a letdown here after that adrenalin-pumping series win over Toronto. This is the start of four straight between these teams, and Ottawa will be out to establish itself.
The Senators also play with revenge after falling 3-2 on March 17th in these team's most recent matchup.
I'm pumping the breaks on the Canucks and whether or not this team truly has its "game legs" underneath it. The Senators though have fully recovered and look great right now.
The outright is possible, but in a game which could be decided late or in extras, I'm laying the price for the extra 1.5 goals in my back pocket.
