This is a 10* TOP SATURDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Bucks/Nets.
Obviously the first thing you think about when you look at these two teams are their dynamic offenses.
We know the Bucks can score. We know the Nets can score. But can either defend?
That's the big question. But it's an important one, because the team that plays better defensively in this series is going to be the winner in my opinion.
And as such, and with a few extra days off to prepare and plan, I don't expect Game 1 to be a high-scoring affair, but rather more of a defensive one, as I absolutely believe each will be out to establish itself defensively.
How did the Bucks beat the Heat? They for the most part stifled them completely defensively. Jimmy Butler was a no-show. The most points Miami scored in that series was 107 point in an OT Game 1 loss.
Brooklyn needed five games to beat the Celtics. Three of those five games eclipsed the posted number. Boston was severely undermanned though in that series, while Milwaukee enters in 100% health.
In Game 1, we're expecting a tighter defensive affair than what this line is suggesting.
