The Pacers won the final two games of their three-game homestand, beating San Antonio 131-118 and then the Knicks 111-98.
However, I believe Indiana will stumble here in the opener of this four-game Western road swing against this desperate Blazers side.
Portland is off three straight road losses, including a poor 107-104 setback at Cleveland on Wednesday.
With the Lakers coming to town tomorrow, followed by games at the Clippers and Suns, this is a very important early season contest for the Blazers.
