This is a 10* TOP FRIDAY TOTAL on the OVER Predators/Canucks.

Neither team can be too happy with where it sits.

Vancouver is 4-5-0-1 and Nashville is 5-5-0.

The Canucks come in off a tight 3-2 OT win at home here over the Rangers and I expect them to keep the foot on the gas here tonight.

Vancouver has seen the total go UNDER in six in a row, but note that dating to last year the Canucks have seen the total go OVER in eight of their last ten after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.

Nashville is looking to rebound after a 5-2 loss at Edmonton. Prevoius to that it had won four straight. This is the opener of a tough four-game set for the Preds, with upcoming contests at Chicago, Dallas and St. Louis.

The Predators though have seen the total go OVER in seven of their last ten after a three goals or greater road loss in their previous outing.

Expect a faster-paced, and ultimately higher-scoring OVER between two clubs in need of a win.
