Wake Forest is a perfect 8-0. UNC is just 4-4. The Demon Deacons have big aspirations now, but the Tar Heels aren't going down without a fight here. In fact, the Tar Heels are favored.
UNC has lost three straight against the spread. It's off the 44-34 loss at Notre Dame, but it's 7-2 ATS in its last nine after three or more straight ATS losses in a row.
The Tar Heels are desperate for two more victories, and with two more contests on the road (at Pitt and NC State) this is a do or die contest.
Wake Forest destroyed Duke 45-7 last weekend, but with big upcoming games against NC State and Clemson, the visiting side will also have to be wary to not get caught looking ahead.
The Deacons have the 14th-ranked passing attack, but the Tar Heels have an effective pass defense.
Wake has also struggled against the run of late, which plays into the Tar Heels hands, as they average over 200 yards per game.
