This is a 10* SOUTHERN GAME OF MONTH on Furman.
I like Furman to keep the foot on the gas from start to finish in this one. The Paladins are coming off a 106-79 win over Anderson SC. Previous to that they held on for a 72-70 victory over South Florida.
VMI is coming off an 80-77 loss to Fordham in OT as a 13-point underdog. After that "close but no cigar" setback, I'm predicting an predictable letdown here on the road in this difficult venue.
Look for FURMAN to build off its latest victory and lay the points with confidence.
