The Carolina Panthers lost their opening game of the season 34-30 to the Las Vegas Raiders. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw for 270 yards with a touchdown while also running for 26 yards. Christian McCaffrey had 96 yards on the ground and he rushed for two touchdowns. He also added 3 catches for 38 yards. Robby Anderson had 6 catches 115 yards and a touchdown and DJ Moore added 54 yards on 4 catches.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost their first game of the Tom Brady era, 34-23 to the New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 239 yards, with 2 touchdowns but he also threw interceptions including a pick-six. Ronald Jones II led the rushing attack with 66 yards. Chris Godwin registered 79 yards on 6 catches and Scotty Miller added 5 catches for 73 yards.

Carolina is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings between these two teams in Tampa Bay and the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings as well.
Brady and the New Bucs offense looked a little sluggish in their opening game. They should get better over time but I don't see them firing on all cylinders this week. Carolina should be able to put some pressure on Brady and the Panthers offense will do enough to keep this one close enough.
