Vince Velasquez was far from efficient in his last outing, needing 103 pitches to get through five innings, but Velasquez was dominant. He now has four starts in 2016 in which he's allowed no runs and three hits or fewer.

We take Philadelphia here as they have won 25 games and that speaks volumes that we have gotten to this point in the season and they have still secured enough wins and are able to make a move in the NL East and still be relevant. Tigers start Mike Pelfrey has given up 44 hits in 7 starts and I like the Phillies to get the win here on the road.
