I'll back the Pirates on Saturday night with one of their hottest pitchers. Locke is coming off the best start of his career, a 105-pitch three-hitter against the Marlins on Monday. He's pitched at least six innings in seven of his 10 starts. He is 2-1 with 3.96 ERA in four home starts this year. The Angels didn't come into this series playing particularly well but their bats came alive in the opener on Friday night. I'm not convinced they can keep it going here, however. Nick Tropeano will counter for Los Angeles. He was roughed up for seven hits and four earned runs over five innings in an 8-6 home loss to the Astros last time out. He's been riding a bit of a roller coaster this season and will face a tough test against a Pirates lineup that is hitting right around .290 at home this season.
