I am backing Boston here on Thursday night and Game 1 starter Trevor Bauer hasn't thrived at Progressive Field this year, going 4-6 with a 4.73 ERA.
He's 0-2 with a 12.91 ERA in three career appearances vs. Boston and the hot bats come in well rested. Porcello is coming off of a huge season.
He is 5-3 with a 2.84 ERA in 12 career starts at Progressive Field as well. The Red Sox have MLB's best lineup and they'll show it Thursday night in support of Rick Porcello.
