Jakob Junis will take the mound as the Royals open a five-game series with the White Sox. Junis went eight innings on Friday in a win over the Tigers, giving up four hits and two runs, while walking one and striking out four.

The Royals and White Sox are both bringing up the rear in the American League Central, and I think the Royals are looking for pay back after losing two games already in Kansas City this year. Salvador Perez is back to the Royals lineup this week, so that will only help stabilize the pitching staff and add some extra power to their offense.

The Royals are only 1-9 at home so far this season and off to a slow start and they usually are great at Kauffman Stadium, and I think they will be in this matchup as they face a White Sox pitcher with a lot of control issues on the mound. I'm backing the home team in this one on Thursday night.
