5*
(NBA) New Orleans vs. Golden State,
Point Spread: 11.50 | -110.00 New Orleans (Away)
Result: Win
All of Golden State's guys can straight up net points when needed - which will still leave undersized Jrue Holiday and slower Nikola Mirotic to try and deal with Kevin Durant, his 26ppg, and smooth stroke which has been more than too tough to handle over the last 3 games. With proven speed, homecourt, and the great ability to shoot the ball from all over the floor - Golden State is going to light thing on fire on the offensive side of things here. Easily, the toughest rebounder for Golden State - Draymond Green will end up seeing some more glass work as he continues to rebound the ball as well as he has been with around 12/game and good work off the offensive glass in particular.

New Orleans has never been even a decent perimeter defense this year with their slow reaction to guys putting shots up from behind the arc. And their oppg defense has been nothing short of terrible allowing 110ppg, which was 29th in the league. This would worry me as a New Orleans fan. Nikola Mirotic looks the part, and shows that great shooting ability - with great range and easy shot - but Golden State isn't too concerned about the 27 year old player just yet. The Pelicans play with toughness and resolve when trying to make the big plays and the big stops - regardless of scoring droughts or missed switches on D - but the Warriors have too many answers for New Orleans's guys.

Golden State wins but only by 5-10 pts here on Tuesday night. I'm backing the Underdog with the Pelicans +11.5 tonight.
