The Phillies have been great so far this year and with their veteran "ace" on the mound in this early afternoon contest, I think that they should/could in fact be a much larger favorite in this matchup.
Toronto is 8-12 on the road as of Tuesday, while Philly is 14-6 at home.
The Jays hand the ball to Chris Bassitt (2-5, 5.45 ERA), while Nola (4-1, 3.32 ERA) will indeed counter for the home side.
Bassitt is off a 6-1 loss to the Royals, while gave up two runs over five innings in a no-decision to San Francisco.
Nola is primed for another big day here on Wednesday afternoon though, as I expect him to easily get the better of Bassitt, who has been consistently inconsistent, especially on the road.
