It's hard to argue with a team that has won 50 of their first 67 games like the Yankees have this season entering Tuesday. Their pitching has been solid, their lineup is dangerous and they have the depth to get the platoon advantage over pretty much everyone in the league. Montgomery hasn't lost since April 21 and has allowed more than two runs only twice all season: one of those was his first start of the year. Tampa Bay has struggled to put runs on the board this season and Shane Baz has his work cut out facing a prodigious New York lineup. The Yankees are the better team as the standings indicate, and that carries them to a victory here.
