This one is summed up by the pitching matchup. Darvish has been one of those pitchers that has a definitive margin in his splits. While he's struggled on the road, Darvish has been tremendous at Petco Park, going 4-1 with a 1.34 ERA, a 0.64 WHIP, seven walks and 36 strikeouts over 40.1 innings there this season while recording a quality start in each outing. Meanwhile, Kyle Gibson is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA, a 1.57 WHIP, 12 walks and 25 strikeouts over 30 innings in his six road starts. I'm looking for another lockdown performance from the crafty Darvish as the Padres earn the home victory here to close out the set and ring up another best bet victory.
