Offense hasn't been easy to come by for either squad this season. The Islanders are just 27th in goals per game (2.56) this year while the Canadiens aren't a ton better, ranking 21st with 2.83 goals per contest. New York is 30th in the league in shooting percentage while Montreal records a league low 24 shots per game on average this season. It's tough to expect much offensively from either side and a 3-2 game could be the ceiling here. A potential empty net goal could push the mark but I don't see the game going over six given what we've seen from these teams offensively.
