Atlanta entered Friday 5th in the majors with 4.71 runs per game and they were 6th in runs per game at home with 4.82 runs per contest. Kyle Wright has gone 5-1 in his last seven starts and his no-decision would have been a win if not for a two-plus hour rain delay in Monday’s outing against the Cardinals. He’s gone 6-2 with a 3.00 ERA, a 1.05 WHIP, 18 walks and 63 strikeouts over 60 innings in 10 starts at Truist Park. Seeing how Corbin has posted a 1-5 record with a 7.39 ERA, a 1.90 WHIP, 10 walks and 30 strikeouts over 35.1 innings with two quality starts in seven road outings, there’s no reason to trust the Nationals here.
