Boise State is coming off of a big win against North Dakota in their last game but that was their 1st win of the season as they are only 1-2 this year and it had to come at home against a team from the FCS. Boise State has already been tested against some better teams this season and they have not passed the test at all. They lost 56-19 on the road against Washington who has one of the best teams in the country but then they followed it up with an 18-16 loss at home against UCF. Boise State rarely loses games at home but this Boise State team is not that good this year and they have had problems on offense as their 2 games against FBS opponents saw them scoring 19 points or less in each game. They are going up against a San Diego State team that is 2-2 this season but they play much better at home as they will be in this game and they have a very good defense as well that is going to make Boise State's weaker offense struggle to even move the ball in this game. San Diego State has not been bad this season either, they opened the season by winning their first 2 games against Ohio and an FCS team, but they lost their last 2 games against UCLA and Oregon State who are both ranked teams. Now San Diego State is at home again and opening up their conference schedule, they will get up for this game and the defense is going to keep it very close even if they lose, but they definitely have a chance to win this game straight up at home. San Diego State will cover the spread in this game.
