The Falcons are coming into this game with a nice 2-0 start to the season but they have also played both of those games at home and against some bad teams. They beat the Panthers 24-10 in their season opener and the Packers 25-24 in their last game, but the Panthers have one of the worst rosters in the NFL this season as they are a bottom 5 team while the Packers are also lacking a lot of talent on the offense and almost won that game still. They are going up against a Lions team that is 1-1 and they are going to be very hungry for a home win here after losing their last game at home in OT. They beat the Chiefs on the road in week 1 but followed it up with a bad defensive performance last week. Their defense will be hungry to bounce back though and as well as the Falcons have been playing in their first 2 games, they still do not have the kind of talent that Seattle has on their offense so this will be an easier offense for the Lions defense to stop. The Lions have also been playing very well on offense in both of their games and the Falcons do not have a great defense to lean on and get stops. The Lions are the much better team here and they are going to be hungry to win this game at home. The Lions will cover the spread in this game.
