AMEDEUS' CFB FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS OUT!
(NCAAF) Tulane vs. Memphis,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -110.00 Tulane (Away)
Result: Win
Tulane is coming into this game with a 4-1 record overall and their only loss this season came against Ole Miss from the SEC. They have won their last 3 straight games since that loss and their offense has been very good in every game. They have scored at least 20 points in all 5 of their games this season but they have really been ramping up in their last 2 games as they have scored at least 35 points in each of those. Their defense has also been much better as they have a top 20 defense in the country averaging around 17 points allowed per game and they also have 2 games in their last 3 which they allowed 7 points or less in. They are going up against a Memphis team that has also been good this season at 4-1 and both of these teams also have a 1-0 conference record so this game is huge to take the lead in the AAC. Memphis has played in some much closer games though as they struggled to beat Navy at home by 4 points in their only conference game so far and even in their last 2 games they lost by 7 to Missouri and barely beat Boise State at home by 3 points in a back and forth game. Tulane beat Memphis by 10 points last year and this is still the defending AAC Champions with one of the best defenses in the country right now. Tulane has a much better team that Memphis both offensively and defensively so Memphis is going to struggle to score points here while Tulane's offense has only been heating up recently. Tulane will cover the spread in this game.
