Oregon is coming into this game with an 8-0 record this season and they have been on fire in their recent games. They are coming off of a tournament which they won all 3 games in and beat some quality opponents in it as well. They opened the tournament with a 10 point win over a ranked Texas A&M team, followed that up with a 10 point win against San Diego State, and then finished the tournament with a 2 point win against a top 10 Alabama team. This is now their 1st game back from the tournament, but they are due for a let down after that stretch of great wins. This is also just their 2nd road game of the season and they struggled a lot more in their 1st road game of the season, beating Oregon State by 3 points in the end but having to come back from behind in that game. They are going up against a USC team that is 5-3 this season and they have not been great in their recent games. They are also coming off of a tournament last week, but they were awful in it as they lost both of their games in blowouts. They opened the tournament with a 30+ point loss against Saint Mary's and now they are coming off of a 10 point loss to New Mexico in their last game. They struggled in the neutral location against these stronger teams, but they opened the season winning 5 of their first 6 games at home with 4 of those wins coming by 10+ points in dominant performances. Their only home loss was to California and they lost that game by 5 points, but they are coming off of 2 awful games in that tournament and they are going to be hungry to bounce back now that they are back at home. They are catching Oregon in a good spot off of that great performance in their tournament and they can take advantage of an overly confident Oregon side. USC will cover the spread in this game.
