LSU ML: UPSET BET OF THE DAY
(NCAAF) Rebels (MIS) vs. Tigers (LSU),
Money Line: 140.00 Tigers (LSU) (Home)
Result: Win
Look for LSU HC Brian Kelly to outcoach his Ole Miss counterpart Lane Kiffin on Saturday in Death Valley!

The Tigers are primed to upset the Rebels after a bye week, as Mississippi has played six consecutive games, including three straight SEC contests. The Tigers have been trending up since their week one loss at USC, while the Rebels were tripped up by Kentucky two games ago, losing their unblemished record despite playing the nation's 81st-ranked strength of schedule. The Rebs may also be without star WR Tre Harris (52 receptions for 885 yards and five TDs), who left last week's game with a leg injury and is questionable to suit up Saturday at LSU.

I expect QB Garrett Nusmeier to pick apart Mississippi's Cover 1 defense, a scheme he has fared well against in the past (57% Success Rate and a 23.5% explosive completion rate). The junior has completed nearly 70 percent of his passes this season, posting a 15:4 TD:INT ratio with an 84.2 QBR, 12th-best nationally. He has a pair of excellent tackles protecting him, which will neutralize the Rebels' terrific pass rush. The Tigers rank 11th in pass-blocking and 2nd in Havoc Allowed. Freshman RB Caden Durham (29 carries for 244 yards, 8.4 YPC and 4.5 yards after contact) figures to get more touches tomorrow, too.

I predict LSU will run the football effectively and drain the game clock, keeping the ball out of Ole Miss QB Jaxon Dart's hands in an upset win.
